



The Pass Plus scheme is aimed at new drivers to help them become better drivers.
Pass Plus is an established training course aimed at new drivers. It was designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry. Drivers can also benefit from Motor Car Insurance Discount Schemes upon success completion of the course.
New Drivers feature in 20% of all road accidents – this is due to their lack of driving experience.
Pass Plus builds on the skills and knowledge which you acquired during your driving lessons. You will learn how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, to help you become a more confident driver.

Pass Plus comprises of six modules where
you will be driving:
· in town
· in all weathers
· on rural roads
· at night
· on dual carriageways
· on motorways

The main aim of the course is to improve driver
skills involving:
· Effective Observations
· Assessment of Road and Traffic Conditions
· Early and Effective Decision Making
· Making and Taking Correct Decisions
· Improving Driver Attitudes
· Taking Responsibility for Your Own Actions
· Care and Consideration for Other Road Users
